Lengths for 6th Gen Camry are 24 inch for the driver side 20 inch for the passenger side. Lengths for 5th Gen Camry and 2nd Gen Solara are 24 inch for the driver side and 19 inch for the passenger side. The major advantages to OEM Gen 6 Style blades is that they allow for insert replacement only which are very cheap and they last FOREVER. There are also several frameless style blades available with the Denso Designer being the same exact blade as OEM Gen 6 style. This is the same with the 5th Gen (2002-2006) Camry, except using 10th Gen (2009-2013) Corolla wiper blades. I have updated my 6th Gen (2007-2011) Camry blades to OEM Toyota/Denso Designer 8th Gen Honda Accord (2008-2012) length wiper blades because due to the location of the arms on the 6th Gen Camry, the Accord blades cover more windshield. They have 6 pressure points that make contact with the glass and when the blade wears out streaking occurs. The OEM wiper blades on Gen 5 are of the outdated frame design. Though I plan to go with OEM inserts for the future, does anyone have recs for non-OEM wiper blades for high heat/humidity areas with no snow? Just in case! Was he just BSing me (perhaps because I'm female)? Because everything I've read tells me I should be able to replace the inserts only. But I couldn't hear him well - lots of background noise on his end. But seriously, am I missing something? One of the guys on the phone said something about a U-hook which is why they only do the whole assembly. I guess I will just pick up Bosch at WalMart for now and order inserts online for next time. Granted it's my own fault to not have checked to replace them before it became urgent. I had already done a search and read stuff here in the forum on replacement, so unless I am missing a salient point, these dealers sound like ripoff artists. I just called 2 of the 3 dealerships and both told me they DO NOT sell the inserts only, just the entire blade assembly. I'm in SRQ (Sarasota/Bradenton area, Florida) and there are 3 dealers near me. Wipers blade rubbers just totally split and peeled during use. I have a bigger post coming later but right now I have an acute (albeit minor) issue. I have a 2009 Camry LE here that is getting put straight after some neglect.
